Hey everyone!
I've changed my blogskin and I want to thank the person who created it.
Recently I've been blog-hopping and I started at Blogger's blogs of note.
If I am free, I'll blog-hop somemore.
Anyway, I'm posting a book review here.
Today's book review is Cathy Cassidy's latest book , GingerSnaps. The story is one of the greatest I have ever read. The main thing that attracted me to the storybook is because of the saxophone one the cover. I'm in my school band and I play the horn. I have always wanted to try out other instruments such as the flute, saxophone and clarinet but I can't as my school band is a brass band. Anyway, the story is about Ginger, a girl who is constantly bullied and teased in primary school. When she gets to the 8th Grade, she changes competely and all her puppy fat and pigtails are history. She also befriends Shannon, whom is the only person she wants to keep her past from. Then they meet Emily, Ginger's old classmate. Shannon and Ginger helps to give her a makeover and Shannon promises to 'ditch' Emily after she has found new friends but she doesn't keep her promise and Ginger feels as if Shannon treats Emily better. Ginger feels left out like she did in the past. But then she has Sam Taylor, the weird saxophone playing boy who lives in the narrowboat
cadenza. But she makes too many empty promises to Sam Taylor, and their relationship starts to fail. What will happen? Read it to find out!
Bye!
